5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Brings Community Together at Augustine Chapel

The Men of Southeast Raleigh, in proud partnership with Rev. Hersey Mallette Stephens, Chaplain of Augustine Chapel, hosted their 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt today—bringing together families, friends, and neighbors for a day filled with joy, unity, and celebration. Held on the campus of Augustine Chapel, the event was a true reflection of what community looks like at its best.

A Day of Fellowship, Food, and Fun

From the moment families arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and positive energy. Children eagerly searched for colorful eggs scattered across the grounds, while parents and community members gathered to enjoy meaningful conversations and laughter.

There was no shortage of good food, great fellowship, and fun for all ages, creating an environment where everyone felt welcomed and connected.

Celebrating Community and Diversity

Events like the Easter Egg Hunt are at the heart of what the Men of Southeast Raleigh stand for—bringing people together across generations and backgrounds. The organization is rooted in service, mentorship, and community engagement, working to uplift Southeast Raleigh through meaningful partnerships and outreach.

Today’s celebration was a beautiful reminder of that mission in action.

The diversity of the community was on full display, with people from all walks of life coming together in unity. It’s this shared spirit that continues to strengthen Southeast Raleigh and inspire future generations.

Beautiful Weather, Beautiful People

With clear skies and perfect spring weather, the day couldn’t have been better. The smiles, laughter, and sense of togetherness created lasting memories for everyone in attendance.

Moments like these highlight the importance of community-led events and the role they play in building stronger neighborhoods.
